I have always found that you can get what you need done if you are nice and courteous... but not here. I will just highlight some of my great moments at the Lanesborough:

' When I first moved in NOTHING was cleaned and the walls were not painted. I immediately made the office aware of this, but after it was not cleaned three days later I scrubbed the bathtub, cleaned the microwave, cleaned the window seal areas and other assorted cleaning so I would not have to live in the filth.
' There was a half-inch gap at the bottom of the door. Not only could I fill cool air gushing out, bugs would get in through it too. It took four courteous reports and two I am really pissed off reports to get it fixed in a month and a half.
' The time the upstairs neighbors garbage disposal gurgled up and flooded our kitchen due to a plumbing problem was pretty cool. I wont even get into how they piled up the kitchen pots that got mucked in our sink just to leave it there.
' Mold kept growing on the air vents. Each time I called them about it they said they would send out someone to fix it. My roommate happened to be there when the vent was being fixed only to find out that they fixed it by spray painting it white. Little do they know that water based paint causes mold to grow more!
' Before I signed the lease I was told that I could signup for roadrunner internet without getting the cable service. Later, I find out that the apartment will not activate the cable for so you can get internet access unless you buy the $40 a month cable package from them.
