I have lived here six years and over that time have observed a lot about the complex. I have never feared break-ins. In fact I have accidentally left my door unlocked at night. I have also taken 10 day vaccations and nothing was missing.
That said, the apartments construction is fair at best. They have rattling windows and squeaky plumbing. There are sometimes mold problems. Not many bug problems as they spray every quarter. The biggest problem here is parking. The covered parking supports are an afterthought, so the supports are too close to the car doors. Also if you get an apartment behind the office, the parking places fill up by 8 in the evening. I upgraded my apartment about 2 years ago. I moved from a 1/1 upstairs to a 3/2 downstairs. Upstairs is much quieter as you don't have rude people parking next to your bedroom window and beeping when they lock the car or alarms waking you up at 1 in the morning.
Mostly, it depends on the area the apartment is in and your neighbors. Just hope the neighbors don't like karoke, or you are screwed.
