The outside of the apartments are horrible. Initially, my husband and I chose not to look at the apartment because the outside looks like a prison.

However, when we did look, we were happy to move in. The apartments are huge for the price, they have a aptartment cable network that has great basic channels for only $20. All bills paid is great also, we run the A/C 24/7 without a care in the world. There are also a few amenities as well and a great community park (although I never use it) across the street from the complex. The courtyards are manicured and nice.

But, to be diplomatic, I must also name the downfalls. Security (although they're only doing there jobs) is rather annoying. They hassle anyone who comes to visit which usually means there's a line of cars backed unto the street just to get into the complex. It is also hard to get a parking space near your apartment after 8pm on any night. Also, I constantly feel as though my apt may be being watched. One day, my husband placed a bag of trash in front of our door. He stepped in to put on shoes to take it to the dumpster. Within 10 minutes the PROPERTY MANAGER showed up to "escort" him to the dumpster to make sure the trash was taken off of the porch. This was less than a month of moving in and I found it quite eerie and unsettling. Last, the surrounding (immediate) neighborhood is HORRIBLE. It looks like little Mexico and all the apartments surrounding this one are run down and look BAD. The silver lining to that dark cloud however, is that it takes less than 10 minutes to get from my apartment to nearby Bellaire, Galleria, and Meyerland shopping centers.

In the end, although there are a number of children around here, I wouldn't live here with a family because of the outside neighborhood. This is great for young students, singles or young couples because of space, all bills paid and amenities. After reading other reviews on this site, I guess it's 50/50 whether or not you have an "okay" experience here.
