Lantern Village Apartments

Great! From: cherokeechad Date posted: 10/1/2004 Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2004   Okay-so, it is old, and not in the greatest shape. Having said that-I have been pleased with management since day 1 (5years of it)-and they are always fast to respond to any and all problems. The price is great-and the location can't be beat. From where it is located-I have freeways close by-or when there is traffic-we are close to Bellaire, Westhiemer, Richmond, Westpark, Chimney Rock, meaning we can get to anywhere in the city-on main roads-or highways. Anyone who says safety is lousy-is on crack! To get in, you have to be a resident-or have an id-which they write down each time you enter. Their guards walk the propery 24 hours a day-and have to walk to each building. They check this by making this carry a data box showing they made it to each unit. Lantern in lacking in the number of Parking Spots-and I would like for them to re-pave their roads. I can't live without covered parking though-and all of their parking is covered. So, if you are out to save a buck-and want a good place to live-Lantern is worth a look. It isn't pretty-but you know what-you can make it feel like home once you get moved in. Chad...
