Lantern Village is a cool place to live in and my experience has been great.
Lantern Village provides a safe environment with secured entry points.
I love the fact that it is all bills paid and it has the extra amenities. Just recently the video library added DVD movies so now we can watch in DVD. The rent is affordable and the size is perfect for me and my wife. The pools will be opening soon so that also means we will be able to use the working jacuzzi. The maintenace is always busy doing something. Out of the 9 months living here I only had to call maintenace once and that was for the A/C not cooling. They were able to fix the appliance which is on the roof on the same day. I should also mention that Lantern bought new dumpsters which is fine since the older ones were old.
I also appreciate the convenience of the Lanern Village Mini Mart. It has come in handy when we forget something from the grocery store. Most of the stuff is priced the same as other stores. I don't know if other apartments have mini marts.
There are some things that I wish would change. For instance the enrty is for one vehicle at a time. When a visitor tries to enter they have to provide a driver's license which takes a long time. I would like ot see two lanes so tenants can drive right on through. Also the parking can use an improvment. I dinged my side door much too many times because the support beams are right there next to the door. Sometimes I am lucky and find a spot close to our room but finding a spot isn't that bad. The posted speed limit inside Lantern is a slow 5 mph. I have yet to see anyone including myself drive 5mph all the way out.
The area surrounding the apartments is not up to par with Lantern. I would say that Lantern is the best overall.


With Lantern Village being our first
apartment, I think our experience has been very pleasant and hope it continues.

I LOVE LANTERN VILLAGE! IT IS MY 1ST APT. AND I THOROUGHLY ENJOY IT! I HAVE YET ONE COMPLAINT ABOUT A SECURITY GUARD NAMED "FRANKLIN" HE IS SLOW, DISCOURTEOUS, FLIRTS WITH ALL OF THE FEMALE GUESTS, AND HE APPEARS TO HAVE AN INSIDIOUS PLAN TO HOLD UP EVERY TENANT. ONE NIHGT I HAD TO BOOBOO AND HE MADE ME WAIT. SO I DROVE ON THROUGH, AND THE NEXT MORNING THAT OL' FART PLACED A STICKER ON MY WINDOW! TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, I GIVE LANTERN VILLAGE 4STARS BUT WILL ONLY GIVE IT 5STARS WHEN THEY FIRE FRANKLIN!
