I've had no experience living in apartments in Houston before. I expected the usual "thump thump" of someone's too loud stereo, people arguing in the parking lot, and general things that get on my nerves and make me count the days until my lease is up. Not here. I live upstairs and between 2 apts. and I rarely ever hear anybody. It's surreal, almost. The occasional tv here and there, but nothing major. The apts. are older, but clean and spacious. (Thank goodness) I haven't had any probs w/roaches (which i'm deathly afraid of lol)or ants. The parking lot does have some potholes, but it's not that bad. I've also had some maintenance issues but I called the maintenance team and the issues were resolved within 48 hrs. All in all, I would say this is a good place to live for my $. I also like the security people. I know no place is 100% safe, but the visibility factor does make a difference I believe. I think i'm getting a good deal without having to spend too much $. I also love that I can run the ac at 70 degrees in the middle of this hot Houston summer and not have to pay a $300 dollar bill like some of my friends do!
