One month after I moved in black mold began appearing on the walls of my laundry room. Management refused to acknowledge the problem. 7 months later they finally determined mold was caused by a water leak up stairs and tore out the sheetrock in the laundry room, revealing large amounts of black mold inside. They didn't try to contain it and they wouldn't relocate me. They left the inside walls exposed for several weeks. They refused to acknowledge my complaints - made in compliance with the Texas Property Code - nor did they respond to my attorney's phone calls or letters. I was forced to pay full rent for months while living in an unhealthy (as defined by the Texas Property Code) apartment. These people are psycho.
