This place is incredible. Incredibly pathetic. MBS is by far the WORST ran company I've ever seen. You can take your complaints directly to the property manager and find that nothing will be done. You can call the corporate offices of MBS at (504)836-5075 and have someone listen to you and assure you that they will call back. You may be dead before that call ever comes. According to others in the blue collar world of leasing apartments, MBS is 7 million dollars in the hole and aren't about to start repairing things at any of their properties. Rats...fix it yourself.
Flooding and mold problems...they may sprinkle some Carpetfresh around. Broken dishwasher. The GE technician will be out in 9 months...if ever. Loud noisy neighbors...who gives a shitt' Parking along the curbs which dangerously obstructs your view when trying to get out of this dump...No problem....14 crackheads sharing a two bedroom is a healthy environment for us all. One guest per apartment at the pool as the Pool Rules reads...No way. Bring all of your dirty thug friends out to the pool for a game of beer can tossing in the water. Ants, gnats, roaches, wasps, skunks, whatever, they have rights too. As the lovely and talented Rodney King once said, "Can't we all just get along."
I think he and his crack dealer both live here anyway. Hell, they probably are the ones running this place.
This truly is the most ridiculous apartment complex I've EVER seen.
You could easily find a safer and better ran property to live in Acres Homes or in Gunspoint. If you think you want to live here...Trust the feedback you'll find on this site and don't waste your time.

I am not a resident, however I have been looking for a new residence. From the comments I have been reading it sounds like there are some legitimate complaints but there also seems to be some blatant racisim. What do you mean by Acres Homes or Gunspoint. Have you ever lived in either of those places? Maybe you should live there before you mention what you have no experience to comment on. Just because it may seem that some areas have lower income residents doesn't mean that it is all bad. Some very good people happen to live in both of these areas as well as home and land owners. Do you even care that maybe someone from these areas may read your little small minded comment? Do you think that you are above being affected by crime and living in an area where people do not care about where they live. Funny you did not mention the faces of the people running this property. Maybe you should try to be a little nicer to the people around you and not think in your mind that "those people should not be living around you" things would be better. How do you know that the people you see are crackheads. The filth that you are spreading with your views of other human beings is not a healthy environment for us all. Did you maybe get in the pool and try to socialize with any of these people you call thugs. Did you stop to think that maybe they have never experienced something that you consider the norm? What is wrong with being a little loud sometimes. At least maybe they know how to have a little fun, maybe you have forgotten how or never knew how! How do you know if Rodney King was a crackhead? You get beat half to death and see what your drug of choice will be you smug biggot! Racisim is not cute. If you do not like the faces you see in what you thought was your little hidden hide-away trying to get brown in the sun to look as close as you possibly can with out being mistaken for being BLACK, then MOVE. You're priviliged. Possibly your new neighbor! By the way, I am black and ghetto when I want to be and proud of it! Just so you know, stupid, crime does not have a name on it, and if you are so concerned about the crack, why don't you consider where it came from, how it gets over here, who are the real suppliers and why was it brought here in the first place. Make a real difference in your world instead of complaining about the small stuff!

May 11, 1991: King was pulled over for having an excessively tinted windshield. Although King was driving without a license and his car registration had expired, King was not charged. May 28, 1991: King picked up a transvestite prostitute in Hollywood who happened to be under surveillance by LAPD officers. King and the prostitute were observed in an alley engaging in sexual activity. When the prostitute spotted the officers, King sped away, nearly hitting one of them. King later explained that he thought the vice officers were robbers trying to kill him. No charges were filed. June 26, 1992: King's second wife reported to police that King had hit her and she feared for her life. King was handcuffed and taken to a police station, but his wife then decided against pressing charges. July 16, 1992: King was arrested at 1:40 A.M. for driving while intoxicated. No charges were filed. August 21, 1993: King crashed into a wall near a downtown Los Angeles nightclub. He had a blood alcohol level of 0.19. King was charged with violating his parole and sent for sixty day to an alcohol treatment center. He was also convicted on the DUI charge and ordered to perform twenty days of community service. May 21, 1995: King was arrested for DUI while on a trip to Pennsylvania. King failed field sobriety tests, but refused to submit to a blood test. He was tried and acquitted. September 29, 2001: King was arrested for indecent exposure and use of the hallucinogenic drug PCP.
