Normal apartment to me From: nikkey Date posted: 9/9/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   My father has lived here for over a year and really likes it. It's his first apartment experience. He works near downtown so the commute is easy. I've been reading a lot of really bad stuff here and it kinda shocked me. It must depend on the section you live in because it's always quiet by him. We had some trouble renewing his lease because he was out of town, but they were great about it and everything was cleared up. There's never been any trouble with the staff as far as our experiences go. The pool is a bit of an issue. I used it all last summer and people would just come and go that didn't even know people there. We had to have 2 stoned guys removed because they were obnoxious and wanted to sell drugs. My theory, Houston is more mixed than most cities. We have trash mixed in all over the city. Trash will be everywhere you live. As long as you're living in an apartment...there will be issues. I think the complex is located in a nice area and is overall nice. Just stay away from units by the pool. It seems like the left side of the complex is better. You get what you pay for.
