Just letting you guys know that M.B.S made the news (NBC ch2 KPRC) on Thursday Sept 15, for not paying there water bills for over 100 residents in Seabrook. The entire apartment complex got there water shut off and as of friday they still didn't know when it would be turned back on. So, every body that lives in las ventanas needs to know that M.B.S seems to still be taking money and not taking care of there bills. Lets hope the city of Jersey Village doesn't shut our water off. Guess we better get Marvin Zindler on speed dial.

I emailed Marvin Zindler recently regarding my apartments, Bayberrytree, owned by MBS the day the story aired and I haven't gotten a response. I think all of us need to get together to send a mass email to somebody, anybody to get them to look into MBS. I can be reached at tameka1976@aol.com. I'm serious. I've been living here for 4 years and I'm fighting with them now because my hot water works off and on and they INSIST that it's been fixed. I need as many people as possible so we can get someone to take our issues seriously. I think MBS should sell their properties to someone else but now with all the work needing to be done no one's gonna want to buy the properties. This sux and we need help before it goes too far.

that's nothing.... I keep getting eviction notices to vacte in 24 hours for non-payment and this is after I've paid the monthly rent. I think there is seriuos violations by MBS regarding lease agreements and such. I plan to contact the BB as well as the Tx State Housing commission as the last 8 months under ABS has been one headache after another....! I'm for a mass e-mail or something as i have a bad feeling with LV and ABS!

I'm a tenant in Seabrook. Over 200 tenants lost their water a few weeks ago. Management has removed articles (took a lien) from my apartment although I met all contractual obligations. Trash pick-up has been halted due to non-payment at least twice in the year. The pool is usually a very nice lime green. The security officer was let go, but I understand we now have a new officer (after 6 months). 8 apt units burned down in the spring. Maintenance is a joke. I was told that they all quit last week. We've probably had 5 managers in the year that I've lived their. Apparently Michael Smuck only wants to be a slum lord. I WILL move out at the end of my lease.

I'm a former tenant. I moved out about 7 months ago. Get this...I'm still waiting for my deposit!! $750 deposit! Every time I call the main office in LA. I get the same ----... we need to get a signature on the chk, our systems are down because someone is working on wires (Katrina excuse), I wrote a news station for a report but have yet to hear back. I work hard for what I have... I sure as hell did not give them a $750 tip!

They only have 30 days to return your deposit or give you a list of deductions. You need to take them to court. You will get 3x your deposit plus $100 and they pay your legal expenses.
