MBS is the worst management ever

Years at this apartment: 2004-01-01 - 2005-01-01
Last January I renewed for a year so the complex (at Greystar management then) gave me $750 discount on february's rent for doing so.
MBS took over administration in February.
In February I paid the difference of my rent less the discount.
One day, I received a call to my office, they said I didn't pay.
I told them I did and gave them the check number to validate it.
Next day, when I came back from work, my TV and DVD were missing.
Just a letter saying they sized my property because I had a delinquent amount.
The delinquent amount was the discount plus penalty fees!!!! Next day we had a big fight, as I showed them my contract with the discount on it.
THay didn't even check the contract before breaking into my apartment.
THey returned it after I mentioned the sheriff was on it's way.
I open a complaint with the BBB and one with the Houston Apartment Association.
Nothing happened.
I consulted a lawyer and nothing can be done.
I can see there are many complaints around..
