Before moving here, I would pass by and say to myself that it looked like a nice place to live. Even the special that was going on was great in comparison to the apartment size. I didn't realize the severity of my mistake until AFTER I had signed the lease! For the first 2 1/2 weeks, I was unable to move into my apartment because there was a problem with the carpet. I continued to call and stop in to check on the matter, and I was consistently given the run around about when the carpet would be changed. To top that off, they closed over an hour early on the day I was due to pick up my keys!
Not too long after that, I noticed that the sink in the bathroom had a really bad leak. It had gotten so bad that I had to remove everything from inside those cabinets, and place and change out towels in order to soak up all the standing water. I called to have maintenance come out, and I was told that they don't have an escalation plan in place, and they go in order of when the problem is called in. Well, it took them three weeks to call back just to inquire about the problem. By then, I had to have someone fix it on my own.
My kitchen sink and bathtub become consistently backed up, they've misplaced my packages and not been able to locate them for a considerable amount of time, and my car has been broken into. To top that off, the apartment I'm in is going for significantly less than it did when I originally got here. The staff has changed at least three times since I've been here, and it's gotten to the point to where you don't know who you need to see in regards to an issue anymore. The last time I went to the leasing office, I remember the associate saying that she didn't have a manager! What's going on with that'
I'm not a big fan of the moving process, but honestly, I'm looking forward to the end of this lease!
