6 months of HELL!!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/30/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   When I first moved in, it was great...One week later, I was in HELL!!! 5 vehicles were broken into on my side of the complex (400 Building). I felt bad because my apartment overlooked the parking in this area. 3 of the cars were in plain site of my window. I should have heard something but I didn't. 2 months later, 9 cars were broken into...all in the same area' At this point you are probably asking yourself WHY'...Well, the lights in this area do not work, they have not worked since Sept. of 2006. I have gone to the office 5 times to complain about the lighting issue. The last time I went was last week. The comment I got was...and I quote!..."We do not have the money to rent a lift to change the bulbs"...Then what am I paying rent for' to clean the pool...every other month!!!''' Marvin Zindler would have a field day with the GREEN SLIM!!! When I aksed to speak to the manager, I was told she was not in...I would have to talk to Mark. (talking to mark is like talking to the wall). I walked out. 2 days later I went back to discuss the lighting issue and as I was approaching the office, I ran into someone that just moved in over the weekend, they were upset because THEIR car was broken into the night before...along with 3 other cars.'' We advised the office personnel of the problem and the same story was given that they do not have the money to rent the equipment...Then, the office employee that made this statement when on to say that..and I quote again, "Hell, we are lucky if our pay checks clear"....I could go on about the fact that I had to make my own repairs to the dishwasher and the water heater because no one would show up to fix it!! Not to mention that when we moved in, there were 2 sets of blinds missing in the bedroom. It looks like someone tour them off and left the casing in place' I asked on 3 different occasions for new blinds...no one ever showed up...So I used curtains instead. My lease is up and we are OUT OF HERE!!!
