overpriced, poor service, hope you like cold showers

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007
I lived there for one year starting in mid 2005. Although I paid my rent by check on exactly the due date every time, I received repeated angry letters about not paying for my parking spot and/or rent, even after I returned the parking passes! My $950 rent was quite high for my cramped 1-bedroom apartment.
Maintenance is a joke - I repeatedly warned management that my circuit breaker tripped constantly because the ceiling fan was improperly installed, but they never fixed it. Broken boards were constantly left in place in the wooden fence behind the complex. TRASH was the worst issue though - with only 2 trash compactors for so many units, you could always find bags piled all over the parking lot nearby. Finally, I was never able to coax the water heater to make the shower more than tolerably warm, but it never got fixed. In fact, I don't think maintenance ever responded to requests about that issue.
On the upside, the lawn and shrubs were maintained by a fairly competent grounds crew, and I never had a hard time finding parking.
SUMMARY: Overpriced and poorly maintained. Lots of crime, particularly vehicles. Stay away!
EDIT: Also, I never got my security deposit back, and when I asked about it I was referred to their corporate headquarters with no explanation.
