We were looking to relocate to Houston from out of state. We checked the reviews to many apartments and found this one had good reviews. So we felt comfortable going with this apartment due to these ratings and never have been in the area. First they said they had a 2bd/2ba that we needed to send the deposit and app fee to hold. We over nighted the check and paperwork and called to make sure it was recieved the next day. We were told it was recieved but they had already leased out the apartment that we were hoping to get. Then they said they had another that would be available, so we agreed to go with that apartment. The next thing I know, we won't be getting that one because the tenants aren't moving. So then they said they possibly would have a smaller 2bd/1ba available by the time we get there. We asked them to hold that one. They said it wouldn't be available until the week we arrived. I explained there was a chance we may not end up moving and whomever I talked with stated we would have a week to withdraw and recieve our money back. The staff was ok, but they weren't calling us, we had to keep calling to see if we would even have an apartment after agreeing on certain ones and sending money. Everytime we turned around the one we thought we were getting wasn't available. The con you into getting different ones knwing we are relocating and on a tight schedule. Then today we called to cancel because we will not be relocating to Houston and they said we cannot have any money back because we were approved and they lost out. How did they lose out if they didn't even have the apartment ready' The staff was rude and didn't hold up to their agreement that we could cancel. Basically because we have good credit and were approved right away they kept our security deposit which they say is not refundable. Please don't be trapped like us! I have a hard time believing that they are really that busy anyway. Good luck. mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH

I have lived here at Le Renaissance for 3 years, and never had a problem with the staff, they are great and very responsive. Deposits are given to hold a unit, they are non-refoundable in the state of Texas.I see why they didn't refound your money. Im sure the property lost money because they could have leased the apartment out to someone else who would have moved in. Sometimes the tenants don't realize all the work the staff at the office have to go through, I heard about the incident that happen this past monday at Post Oak at Woodway, and I just wana thank all the staff at Le Renaissance for makeing my stay here very pleasent. Keep up the good work guys.

I think your money should have been refunded to you. She stated that she put the deposit down to hold the unit the apartment complex said was available. The apartment people lied there for the money should have been refunded. I do not live here... I was thinking about it and now I am glad I found tihs site becuase I will not be moving here.
