Parking nightmare, bad office staff, etc.

I lived in Legacy Pines prior to the management shift and a few months into the new management. I agree that the office girls were incredibly lazy and nonchalant about any of your issues. Basically they were there for being easy on the eyes, let's say (and yes, Sally does talk on the phone 24/7 to her boyfriend when she's there). The management's ineptitude is amazing, and they never seem to care what you tell them about the parking situation. People will park all over the place in the fire lanes creating one-lane blind corners everywhere. God help anyone there if a serious fire breaks out. Also, I had people park in my covered space a few times only to find out that I didn't have any jurisdiction to have them towed immediately. This happened usually at night when the office staff was gone, and the emergency call center people could give a rats behind about it.

My apartment was facing Louetta Rd and I must say that it was the loudest place I've ever been in. The road noise was amazing, the upstairs neighbors seemed like they were walking with iron boots, and since the doors all face inwards of each other I could hear when each of my neighbors got home. My A/C died about 4x over the course of 6 months, and since I was on the 2nd floor I had a very warm apartment in general. My utility bills were through the roof even though I had my air set at 78 degrees (it was always over 80 degrees even when I set it as low as 75).

When I went to ask about releasing options (in case I could get a better deal at a different apartment in the complex), they basically shrugged and said nothing was really available (this was Sally at the time). I told her I wanted to sign a 60 day notice form and she just handed me the paper and went back to talking on the phone. No attempt at keeping me there, no attempt at apologizing for the parking, and no attempt at acting concerned in the least for losing a resident.

If you want to live next to HP then there are plenty of other places in the area. This complex seems to ride on the location they have instead of trying to be good to its residents. Do yourself a favor and never move here.
