Parking: people park in red tow zones, nothing happens to them. I've come home late
from work many times only to find someone has parked in my assigned spot. Not enough parking spaces.

Noise level: my apartment faces Louetta and the noise is horrible, especially at night. I don't have any complaints about my next door neighbors, but my upstairs neighbor stomps her feet at all hours of the night. She's so loud I can feel/hear her stomping (and running garbage disposal) even when I put in ear plugs. I've complained countless times to the leasing office and nothing happens.

Grounds: Landscaping is ok. My problem is that the maintenance crew doesn't seem to think keeping the common areas (stairwells) of the buildings are their responsibility for cleaning. Many of the stairs are disgusting. Of course many of the residents are disgusting and don't have a sense of common decency. My friends also have apts in this complex and they complain about the new ghetto renters spitting on the stairs and doing other disgusting things. In my building, the "kids" sit on the top of the stairs talking on the phone late at night and drop cigarette ashes/butts below them (like the rest of us are their ashtray). No one from the office has even tried cleaning the mess.

Safety: I haven't had any direct problems, but my friends have heard gunshots before. (I probably didn't hear the gunshot because of my upstairs neighbor and the loud traffic on Louetta).

Maintenance: it's so-so. Major issues seem to be fixed quickly. But, what bothers me is that some of the crew don't leave the required notification that they've been in my apartment.

Apartment quality: Other than the "thin" cielings, the quality of the apartment is better than most of the older ones. One can definitely tell the construction was poor (crooked/slanted doors or built-ins). But the cabinets, sinks and bathtub are nice.

Overall recommendation: I would not recommend anyone moving into this complex, unless they need to be on Louetta/249 and it's the cheapest they can find. But they will have many problems to deal with.

Maybe I wouldn't be so down on the place, if my upstairs neighbor wasn't so noisy. But I haven't had a decent night sleep since she moved in.

*Update note: I would give the apartment a 2.5 star rating, maybe even a 3 star; however, I chose to leave it at 2 stars to balance the many 5 stars with no explanations or objective reasoning.
