Looks are deceiving: appliances are TERRIBLE

The apartments do look nice. I love the layout for my apartment, and the bathrooms are large. The apartment was spotless when we moved in. But my god, the appliances are horrible. I can't even use the dryer anymore because you need to run a few cycles to get a load of clothing dried. There is always grime after we use the dishwasher. The A/C stops working sporadically. The garbage disposal leaks, and all the sinks must not even be sealed because you get weird leaks underneath the sink. I've had maintenance in several times, and they've always been great, but they can't do anything about the bulk of the problems.
The worst part is my electric bill. Before when I dried my clothing, the electric bill was over $200. Which is absurd, because before I moved in here, I lived in a three bedroom, two story house just down the road. I ran the A/C at 65 all the time, and my electric bill was never over $60. Since I stopped drying my clothing, the bill has gone down to about $115, which is still ridiculous, IMO. I'm already looking for a new place to move to as soon as my lease is up.
