I agree that Karen tried to get things taken care of quickly. She was here quite awhile. The best "team" was Michael and Karen and Reyes. But all of they have left!! And the current owner is very cheap and doesn't won't to spend much to take care of the problems. So don't expect the same response!!! The place is going downhill fast!! DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!

Karen Marvin Reyes and Michael were a great team. But now its going completely down hill. There is NOT a new owner--the one in charge now is Michaels dad and he is a total jerk. Al is in charge of maintanence. this place is full of rats roaches and people who BOOM their cars at all hours. It's a total ghetto.

update--I have now been gone for over a month and have yet to get my deposit back, despite giving ample notice, paying every thing that I owed, and leaving the apartment in perfect condition. This is the most horrible place. I never one looked back. I am so glad I am gone. The owner and his little friend Al the maintanence man used to scream obscenities at me when I wanted something fixed, and they have sheets hanging in the windows instead of mini blinds. Don't move here--you will hate it.

I know just what your talking about, it took me awhile also, call Haa and report them cheap low lifes!i agreee it is horrible and its really a dirty shame for it was so clean and nice.it is old but it was kept nice and the mangement used to be great they were respectful, proffesional and alway trying to please, now its a BIG JOKE!!they think they know how to treat there residents but they don't.. what they need is to get Michael, Karen, Reyes back, they got Marvin still I think, and we all feel sorry for that poor young man to have to work with such unproffesional, cheap crooks and unknowledgeable people!alot of the old residents are going or gone! the place looks like ---- Sharpstown looks better and even around Gulfton!!We remeber when Michael and Karen were together that was great! the place was clean, nice and kept up very well, maitence was perfect, there were problemas which was expected because of the age of the prop. but the two of them took care of them, and Reyes was professional , and new his business, now Marvvin is the only good one left of the old staff, The guy they have whos name is Al!! WHAT A JOKE HE IS!! he and the owner are both a coup;e loosers, they itch each others back!! from what I here the clientel is terrible!!!and the owner is so cheap he squeaks and so unproffesionl, I hope he don't plan to have any other businesscuz if he does he better get some decent people to show him how to run it!!there are a few residents that from what we hear have had money stolen out of there apts..from two of the staff memebers.the owner needs to give up and get out! he does not fit in the Mem area anymore!and the home owners feelings will not be hurt, I bet you don't see the owner living there? and he could free!!like he lets all his help!the office staff is another JOKE!! there is no professionalism in that office! have not seen any since Karen left.. we remeber going in there Karen dressed very profssional and so was both her leasing agents she had, actually I think they were both Heathers,now its everything goes!!!!!!!!Karen worked hard she was there all the time!!!Like we said the good days are gone..since the old staff is all gone, PLEASE DON'T LIVE THERE!!Michael when he was there you would see him with Karen and Reyes checking everything out!what a GREAT TEAM they were!Oh and the 910 side that was the disgusting the old man over there coudn't even clean a pool right!thats all that Michael would let him dothat and pick garbage up and then that wasn't right either.such a rat hole!

yes, I can agree on the property, I have visted this community and I know of a few friends also, I will not lease there and my friends also went and they agree -it is ghetto!! if anyone goes and heres the word "deck" don't live there! it is so pitifull, when I was taken there I told the manager then last year that where I lived in Sharpstown was alot better than what I was looking at!the only thing that the property had going was low crime! you are paying for the Memorial name and low crime thats it!!!!!!!! I think her name was Karen the manager she tried so hard for me to live on the deck and thats all she had and I hated to tell her what I thought but I did. I was living in Sharpstown and the property was great and the apts etc but the crime was terrible!! I told Karen that my daughter would be ashamed to live there and bring friends, I felt sorry for the manager cause I knew she was trying!
