We have lived at the Lexington for 3 years. We really enjoy our appartment, the location, and the area. Several months ago, however, the personnel in the leasing office changed and the management has been unresponsive, apathetic, and impolite. When something needs to be done, be prepared to ask 3 or 4 times before it gets done (if at all). For the past 6th months we have asked them to clean the gutters outside our apartment (we get soaked everytime it rains). Finally, after the 6th time asking them to fix it, they told us to be patient because they are replacing all of the gutters. Still not fixed. The apartments are nice, and the neighbors are quiet, but think twice about the folks in the office.

The Lexington Apartments are a member of the Houston Apartment Association and the Texas Apartment Association. It has been our experience that often negative comments posted on this website are by residents who have been evicted for nonpayment of rent or other lease violations, or who have never actually lived on the property, or by competitors. Be cautious in assuming the truthfullness of postings by anonymous persons who refuse to disclose their identity. We recommend that visiting with current residents onsite is a more reliabele method of obtaining third-party opinions about our apartment community and its management.
