I understand with the cost of living rising in Houston that apartments have to raise rents because their bills are more expensive. That's why I try to lease for the longest lease term possible so they can't raise my rent until its time for renewal.
As far as a short term lease goes, I didn't even know they offered short term leases! Most apartment complexes don't even hassle with short term leases and if they do, they charge a very costly premium (like $200 on top of base rent). The Lexington is sorta pricey but its well worth it! Jerrilyn is very sympathic to everyone and tries to work with you. I've never lived at a property where the staff knew my name and actually CARED about how I was doing. They even throw resident margarita nights to try to get to know the residents better and keep it a nice friendly community. I absolutely love it here! Definetely be renewing my lease!
