ok ive lived here almost a year and a half now and i am so happy that when i renewed my lease i only did it for 6 months. After hurricane katrina hit Louisiana this place has become infested by the ghetto. My neighbors stay home all day and blast the ghetto ass rap music because FEMA is paying for their bills. The management is horrible i had to wait 2 months just to get my garbage disposal fixed. I came home one night at 4 am and went to work at 7 am and when i got outside of my apartment they had police everywhere. Someone had let a group of guys come in and they stole the rims and tires off of about 7 cars. Hell i'm moving as soon as my lease ends in february. Im sure they wont have a problem finding some ghetto FEMA person to come take my place.

Awww shut that ---- up! Ghetto this and ghetto that? Why does everything thing that is blk or Katrina/FEMA related have to be ghetto? I've have lived here for over 2 years and I haven't experienced this ghetto-ness that you talk about. You suck and you probably should live in a white box somewhere away from everyone else!

Dnelly21, you must be living in a fantasy world instead of this complex! I also saw this place go to sh#t when the fema people moved in. The reviewer wouldn't use the word ghetto so often if the New Orleans people weren't so incredibly rude, thugish, & unemployed (like a large majority of black people from that area). Does the truth hurt, eh? One VERY inconsiderate fema person in particular decided to have a loud party with cRAP music blasting at the club house until 3AM on a weeknight... now that's ri-d@mn-diculous! I know it was a fema person because I was so upset that I complained directly to the manager, and they knew who had reserved the club house that night. The complex also got much trashier and louder in general after all these fema people moved in. I actually saw my new fema neighbors throw trash on the ground right in front of me. What the h#ll is wrong with these people? If they want to throw trash on the ground then they need to go back to their sh#thole sewer in Louisiana. All those mooching trashy-a$$ fema people can go f#ck themselves! Thankfully most of them are gone. Good riddance!!

I've lived here for 4 1/2 years and have never experienced any of what you have said. The only problem that I have had has been the upstairs neighbor coming in at 3:00am with her friends and then deciding to party for the the rest of the night. She is not a Katrina transplant, she is a white young woman in her early 20's who has no concideration for anyone else. Disrespect and so called being "ghetto" or "trash" with loud music and so on, actually comes in many colors. I don't see any of what the 2 previous reviewers have commented on, and I find it a shame that race has been used here to label one people. Hopefully the reviewer will someday realize that there are good and bad in every color and ehtnic group, including their own!
