My lease ends at the end of August. I'm ready to go already. Fortunately, I haven't experienced what some of the others have with crime, but I do not think the apartments are worth the money. It took maintenance a month and a half (with 2 WRITTEN requests) to fix a leak in my bathtub. Office staff is always new when I go in there and I avoid that place as much as possible because I always leave angry and frustrated after dealing with those people. The walls are paper-thin, I can hear my neighbors loud and clear through my bedroom wall and my downstairs neighbor's TV volume is so loud, it literally makes my floor shake. The gates are always open, I don't even know why they even have them. Oh - or if they aren't standing wide open, then they are closed and won't open! It's a pretty property, but after being there only 5 months, I can see that it's heading downhill rapidly. But all areas of town seem to be going in that direction, so I don't know where to go!

I know a perfect place for you to live and that is Signature Palms apartments. They opened last year and I was the 3rd resident to rent there. I loved it. Yes, you can still hear the people upstairs, but only walking around. No noise at all. If you stay on the High School side, you will hear the band wake you up in the mornings, which didn't bother me b/c I was in the band. I currently live here at Shadowlake and hate it. I tried to get an apt. at Signature Palms, but they were full. That says a lot! Good luck.
