Get back in your car and drive away From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/29/2006 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2006 3 responses I have never been so ashamed to say I lived here at the lodge at shadowlake. Ive lived here for 3 years now and I cant wait to move out. I have to agree with some of the residents about the leasing staff. Theyre terrible. There was one girl named Jessica Gambino who worked there for like a year who everybody loved. I swear she worked every single day. Atleast everytime I came into the office she was there. Everybody liked her. Everytime i went into the office she greeted residents with a smile and was very eeger to help. I had a serious problem with my car getting broke into and she was so sincere about helping me and making sure i was ok. I asked to talk to the manager but of corse he never responded to any phone calls or letters. If you ever hear the name MIKE COOK, run for your life. One day the main office will find us a new manager because i swear, he is the biggest ass hole of them all. I think he sits in his office everyday scratching his ass and nothing else. Anyways Jessica is gone now and i feel that was the last straw. we finally get a honest hard working person in the office and a year later she gone. Good thing she came into the office the other day and told me where she may be working at, now I can move out of this hell hole and move over there. Anyways, Im totally disgusted in this place and cant wat to get the hell outta here.

Getting the deposit back is extremely difficult. I moved out 6 month ago and still have not get my deposit back.

I so agree with you. The manager is no help at all. I have known really great apartment managers. He is not one of them. One of the leasing agents can be really nice, but she never gets anything done. They are all incompotent!
