The place is beautiful, but.... There are lots of buts! I had made a DVD for my sister's birthday and invited some close friends and relatives to watch it together at the THEATER. I went to the office on a Saturday, filled out the paper work, gave the lady a deposit check (about $300 I think) and hoped to have it reserved for me on the following Thursday. The lady who received my check said that she was going to call me back to confirm with the manager. I asked her the odds of the manager not approving it, and she said that if I've never had a problem before with the office there is no reason why they would not let me use it. Well, by Wednesday noboy had called me and I had sent out the invitations. I called the office to pick up the keys and they put me on hold for about 15 minutes. I called back. I was told that they did not know what I was talking about and they did not have my check. I asked the lady to double check and call me back. Long story short, she finally found my check, but said that UNFORTUNATELLY THEY WOULD NOT LET ME USE THE THEATER! The reason was that the table in the club was broken (which is next to the theater, but not IN the theater). I explained my situation, about the birthday and invitations and she said that I wasn't supposed to invite anyone anyway because nobody called me - so I should assume that nobody calling me back is no'' I knew about the table when I paid the deposit, and the lady said that as long as I used only the theater it would not be a problem... yeah right! I had to call several friends to find another place to watch the movie... it was SO EMBARRASSING! I asked to talk the manager and they did not let me, because the decision came from the manager, so she would not talk to me...
One more:
I called the office SEVERAL TIMES to change the light bulb in the kitchen and after 3 weeks somebody showed up while I was working. When I got home, there were GLASSES all around the kitchen: sink, stove, refrigerator, floor... The maintenance person broke one of the light bulbs and DID NOT clean the mess and DID NOT leave me a note. Now, imagine if I had a 2-years old running into the kitchen with all that glass!! NEGLIGENCE! I called the office and all they did was to "I'm sorry, we'll send somebody tomorrow". Tomorrow was too late for me, I could not spend a whole day with the kitchen covered with glass - I had to clean it myself.
I do like the pool, the gym, the size of the apartment, but I don't know how long I can take this HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Odds are the person who took your check and lost it never addressed it to the manager in order to cover their b-tt!~ I wouldn't have even bothered with directing my concern with the office staff, but then again, the new manager doesn't seem to care either. Good look, can't wait to get out mainly because of the office management and staff, very rude and extremely lazzzzyyyy!
