be a wonderful place to live. Used to. I lived here for two and a half years. The first 2 years were wonderful. Quiet. Safe enough. (No place is guaranteed) Staff was kind and if we had any problems it was usually resolved within 24 hours. The only problem was that the toilet clogged often, but I loved the area so much I felt I could deal with that. But then the apartment changed management. Then Katrina happened. That's when the area declined. New management began letting in thugs, trash, and criminals of every race. It's like that stopped running background checks or something. On my way to our apartment, my roommate and I were approached by some degenerate male and for the first time, we felt unsafe. My roommate and I had some choice words with this guy because he would not let us pass by until our dog started growling at him. We really believe new management turned this once serene location into a income-based apartment complex. And we all know what that means don't we' Every welfare collecting, FEMA check scamming Katrina victim soon flooded the place along with rodents and crime. By the time we moved out, cars were getting broken into on the regular and someone was even robbed at gun point in the parking lot. It may have been a wonderful place to live in the beginning, but I urge you to change your mind about it now. If you don't believe in a higher power or at least have a best friend who's a high ranking cop who will live with you, take a look somewhere else.

if you have'nt lived here since 2005 then why would you even leave a comment on the condidtion. I have lived here since may, and I think it is great, never had any confrentation. I love it here. I think it is wrong of you to comment like this on an apartment you have'nt lived in for three years, like get a life.

Whatever. It happened and so far, nothing has changed. All you have to do is look it up with HPD, dumb-a**. The facts don't lie. Those of you who have an issue with what I've written, you're probably either apart of staff and trying to do damage control or you are one of the degenerates I spoke of. I guess if you're the one breaking into people's homes or robbing innocent law abiding citizens at gunpoint, you would feel comfortable among others just like you. Get off welfare and get a job. I am black. I wish I could live around my own people without hearing loud music, gun shots, or worrying about being raped and robbed. Unfortunately, not all of us were raised to behave accordingly. Get angry. It just proves my point as proof of the great divide between Black people and plain old Ni**as.
