I have a friend that owns a condo there and she is still very upset by the rape that took place late last year. It's really messed up.

It wasn't a rape it was an assault. Apparently, some druggies, for lack of a better word were mad at one of their co-horts for keeping drugs from them or stealing them and they sort of ganged up on her. Not that either is any better, but if we are going to gossip on this forum let's keep the facts straight. I too live there and was near the building when the asault took place.

The police report indicates "forceable rape" - go to the Houston police department website and you can check crime statistics for the building. Rumor also has it that the guy had a prior drug arrest, and Tarragon and the sales office decided to rent to them anyway. Anything for a dollar.
