Overpriced...

The only thing luxurious about the MacGregor is the leasing office and the wine room that is never used. The apartment has cheap fixtures, cheap carpet, and cheap appliances. It is great that the complex is enclosed however you have to watch out for the canine urine in the halls, stairs, and elevators. The ceilings are paper thin. My light fixtures shake the person above me walks around. Maintainence repairs are slow to get fixed or ignored all together. I had to request the my patio doors be fixed at 6 times because they would not close properly. I also had an issue with gnats because of the dupmster below was not treated. When I complained to the office they offered no solution but to send the exterminator to my apartment. That treatment only lasted for 3-4 days and the bugs were back. It's very upsetting when you have to watch your child swat gnats away from her dinner when she's sitting at the dinner table. You can find a better place to live in Upper Kirby, Montrose or West U for the same amount of money and actually experience luxury living.
