Great apartment. Overpriced.

My boyfriend and I lived in the Macgregor from May-Dec 2008.

We had to move out because of new assignments in a different state.

Otherwise, we would have stayed there.

Beautiful complex, great location (especially being so close to Hermann Park), security is a plus (it is like a fortress - keyfobs are needed to enter bldg).

Cons would be the few dumb loud college students that live there- I wonder how they can afford an apt with $1200 for 1-1.

We have never made any complaints.

Ike restoration though slow (about 2 months after Ike we got our ceiling fixed), they gave us a good concession off rent.

Don't recommend jogging or walking at night as it is close to the Third Ward - being off 288.

Gates lock after 10pm, you need a keyfob to enter which limits piggy backing at night.

Overpriced but we are willing to pay more for safety being inside the inner loop and nearby Hermann Park.

I recommend.
