If you are looking to move in these apartments...KEEP LOOKING! I have lived in the Mandalay since June of 2005, and this place has gone DOWN! Although the management has changed, I do like Beth because makes herself available to know what's going on in the complex. Parking is not a problem because I have a garage, and if you want to move here....you can have mine since I'm leaving! I have nothing against the Katrina evacuees, however I feel that they are bringing their "I'm the victim so I can do what I want" attitudes to the extreme. Before you pull the race card, I am an --------American woman, educated and I make damn good money. I am courteous to my neighbors meaning I don't play loud music, I make sure my 9 year old doesn't jump around (I live on the 2nd floor), I don't start fires in the trash dumpsters, I don't have wild parties until 4am during the weekdays, nor do I litter and throw trash where I reside. I can't count how many times I've called the "Non-Existent" courtesy officer out, and HPD! If you want to sleep during the night, and are a hard worker who requires a safe residence to live....DO NOT MOVE HERE! There have been several thefts here as well....
