I moved into Mandalay in spring 2006. When I first moved in everything was great (except for the fact you have to rent your own washer/dryers). Then the management started changing and everything went to hell. Don't get me wrong the apartments look great inside, and so does the pool, but everything else is sick. Then in late 2007 they got a whole new staff that doesn't care about anything. They don't say hi when you come in or anything. I've seen tons of cars on blocks now, the gates are always broken, and they WILL TOW YOUR FRIENDS! Not to mention all of the new ghetto people they are taking in because everyone moved out, with constant thumping from cars all night (they will jack up your rent at the end of your lease. Be prepared to move!) Bottom line: the neighbors are ghetto, the staff is awful.

I totally agree with the response. My car and apartment have been broken into and after May, I will be out of the slums. The staff is absolutely insulting and unconcernful. I had to call Houston Apartment Association on management.
