Don't get me wrong the model that we were shown was beautiful and we were shown the best area's such as the pool and the grass between the office and the model. But upon moving in we found several problems. There isn't enough parking. You get one assigned parking spot per apartment, even if you have a two bedroom with three cars. Because of the parking situation people park in the no parking zones and create problems for cars to get in and out of their assigned parking spots. when i complained about residents parking in the "fire" zone the leasing agent I spoke to said this was a private property and they just put those "no parking" signs there to try to get people to stop parking there. He also mentioned the firetrucks being made to "move things" out of the way. Taxpayers, we pay for firetruck repairs! Also, there is dog crap everywhere. The residents do not clean up after their pets at all! There is a smell everyother day and I don't even want to mention how many times I have stepped in the crap. Another issue is the management does not stay consistant with their rules. I live on the third floor and put my trash outside the door so my husband can take it down when he left for work. Well, we got a notice on our door that day when my husband forgot to take it down. It said that they will issue a ticket next time we leave trash outside. Well the very next week my neighbor left trash outside thier door. I mentioned it to the management and they did nothing after a week reminded them about it and still they did nothing. It seems as if they are more interested in smoking cigarettes right next to the pool than taking care of their residents. Upon move in there were stains on the carpet and there is a mold growing outside of the patio doors that needs attention. But other than that everything else is good. For the most part, the residents are nice. The pool is great to swim in and the sirens from the firestation are not that bad. But once this lease is up I will be moving to a different place.
