I never had any real problems with Ironwood. I had a whole lot of irritating moments I'm not going to lie. For one thing it is the fire station down the street that does drills at all times of the night. Management was only helpful when they wanted to be. I admit Jennifer was very understanding and nice but everyone else was a headache. It was like talking to yourself. The workout equipment STAYED broken and I don't know how many times I saw management sitting out by the pool drinking and smoking AND running the cable from the workout room to the pool area while there are people trying to work out.
Overall my apartment was fine. I had the one bedroom study even though i don't feel it was worth the obscene amount of money I paid for it.

I currently live in Ironwood. Basically, it is not worth the money. It is to expensive for the amount of money I pay. I am currently renting the one bedroom study. I use to never really pay that much attention to reviews, I just thought is was people who really didnt have anything to do . But I read a review on the ironwood and I should of listened to what that person said, hopefully i can be able to help someone else out with this one.To begin with I was new to houston and chose ironwood because of location and it seemed like a good place to be safe in since i was in college and alone. I should have yielded to the warning signs. I called every week checking on my apartment and info so that i would be ready to move and the person I was working with gave me a wrong apartment number so all of my utilites were set up for an apartment I didnt live in, they didnt bother to give me this information until like 3 days before I moved in, so for the first five months i was arguing with my electric company trying to see why I was being charged for electric at two different apartment. The staff at ironwood are very unprofessional and rude everytime you speak to someone there they dont know what they are talking about everyone tells you something different. It was just little thinks like the office never opened on time, and I also had a few maintenance issues my refrigerator went out, i had to throw away all of the food in my refrigerator...and they wouldn't compensate me in anyway for the inconvience, i know it wasnt there fault but im renting from them and it is there appliances.. if im going to cover all the expenses then i might as well buy a home and stop renting, i would think that is the purpose of renting. So hopefully this review will be helpful to someone else in making your decisions
