I have lived at IronWood for almost 2 years. I love that place. I don't have much to say about them other than that they are great!!! The only problem I have come across is not getting a quick response from the manager when I had a question, because she was not in the property or available. I don't call much, and all the times I have called, she was never there. I have met the manager, and she is great. The exit gate needs to be fixed, but it is not a major problem because I can exit the property easily. Parking is a pain for those who have guests, but there is nothing that can be done about it because the property was built that way. The pool is great and the resident activities are the best. Honestly, no property is perfect, and the rent that we are paying to live at this property is well worth it. It is a great deal and the property still looks brand new, even on the inside. Crown molding, garden tubs, large patios, high ceilings, two tone paint, microwave, fireplaces, storage, etc... You can't get all that anywhere else in this area for that price. trust me I have done the research. For those who claim have gotten their apartments broken into, look at who you are letting in your place. Nine times out of ten, it is someone you know. In order for a break in to occur, the person breaking in already knows what they are taking. No one will take a risk breaking into an apartment that might be empty. Don't just tell people you just bought the new Playstation 3 if you don't know them well. I have heard of people getting their things stolen from their own family. Car break ins occur all over Houston its a city. Stop leaving temptations in your car. I was victim of car theft twice living in the galleria area and I was not at Ironwood.

Yes I agree that there is crime everywhere in Houston. However it is unfair that you say 9 times out of ten it is someone you know. That is insane. My friend got mugged there by two men in front of her own apartment they pushed her on the wall and stole her stuff. Do you thing that was her friend? Um not likely, people especially women need to be carefull, obviosly any where, but especially ironwood. The complex is nice... Its what is behind it that is questionable. I had a two bedroom apartment with a room mate, but was only allowed one parking spot. There were times when I had to park across the street. I didn't even know if it was a towing zone or not. Very very unsafe at night for a girl in that area to be walking down the street to her own apartment. I think you should rethink your comment that 90% of crime comes from your friends. Maybe YOUR friends would do that stuff, but I KNOW mine wouldn't. The management is nice ,but perhaps more security should be a seroius consideration. And about the parking.... I understand having limited parking... but if you have a two bedroom then you should be allowed 2 cars. There is no reason that me or my roommate should have to park across or down the street when we have a two bedroom apartment. If you have a one bedroom, then I can see only allowing 1 assigned parking spot, but you are basically SCREWED if you have a roommate and are paying more rent but have the same parking abilities as someone who loves in a one bedroom!!!
