my car was towed while I was unloading groceries...I couldnt get to my apartment fast enough because of course... one of the elevators were broken and I had to make 2 trips because I am only one person, my car was no longer than 15 minutes and the manager called the towing company while there were still groceries in my car. I was told "If I didnt like the rules I can leave" I contacted corporate 3 times... no response back! Yet later that night after I get my car back and 200 dollars later... a car was parked in the same area, went back down stairs an hour later.. car was still parked!!!! not towed.. what upsets me is if you are going to have rules and regulations, YOU BETTER BE READY TO ENFORCE THEM ON EVERYONE!!!

Geez dude, check your spelling before posting something online. I'm thinking this is some high school kid writing this stuff. I've lived here for over two years and have to say that Brian and the new management company are the best thing to come along since I've been here. I applaud a manager that enforces the rules for the majority of us that live here and follow them. That's bound to piss off one or two inconsiderate jerks that think just because they pay rent they can do what ever they want. We've had huge problems with people parking anywhere they want, blocking exit routes and blocking in cars as well as the scooters and motorcycles parked at the front doors and walkways. Signs were clearly posted in all elevators and entrances for over a week informing residents that illegally parked cars would be towed. You had to have been parked in a No Parking zone. It doesn't matter if you pay rent or visit. You live in a community and you have to consider the people that live there with you. Is that a concept you think you can grasp? I've have seen more things being done for this property in the first 2 weeks Brian has been here than I saw the entire time JPI and that bimbo Amanda were here. This is a great location, the units are priced well, and the new company is making more repairs than JPI could have ever thought about. They showed their commitment to this property by getting rid of the worthless maintenance guy that was here before. Yeah, there was no hot water one day. The elevators are slow, but outside of those at the Empire State Building what elevators are fast. Damn, they only have to go 8 floors. How long can that take anyway? Just follow the rules (there aren't that many of them), grow up and admit you screwed up and move on. If you don't like it just ride out the 5 months you have left and hit the road. We will be a better community, obviously, without someone that parks where ever they want.

Security/Safety is pretty good compared to other properties. You need a card to get into the elevators and parking garage and nito the building after hours. There are, of course, a few idiots that leave doors propped open so their friends can get in without them having to get off their lazy asses and come let them in. One car was broken into 2 months ago - the first I know of in 2 years and its believed that was a retaliation act. Valuables were not taken from the car. Utilities are charged according to square footage and number of people in the apartment. When two of us lived in a 1380 sq. ft unit the utilities were about $157 - $175 (for electric, water, sewage, trash). In the 980 sq. ft. with 2 people the utilities are about $127 - $130. The walls and floors are concrete. If you have partiers or an elephant living above or next t o you you can hear some stuff but not like other properties. Also, if you have the inconsiderate woman above you that never takes off her high heels you might hear that. Most partiers are on the side overlooking the pool. Where we live, on the side overlooking Detering, it is pretty quiet. There's a good grouping of considerate neighbors on that side of the building.

Safety/security is probably better here than most places. You have to have a card to enter the garage, elevators and you need it to enter the building after hours. One car break in in 2 years, and that was retaliation...nothing valuable taken from the car. The walls and floors are concrete so its quieter than most places. The partiers are over on the side over looking the pool. Utilities are computed based on size of apartment and number of people in the unit. When I was in a 2 bedroom with 1380 sq ft with another person the utilities were about $155 - $175. In the one bedroom now with 980 sq ft and another person the utilities are about $125 - $130. Its a good value for the money compared to other places inside the loop...and the controlled access garage is a benefit. I have never once come home and not found a parking space.

Thank you so much to the two residents who responded. I am excited about coming out to view the property. What issue would you say most needs to be addressed at the property? It sounds like Brian is really trying to turn things around. I talked to him on the phone and could tell he is concerned about maintaining and improving the property.

I know several people that were towed as well. Yes, the manager (Brian) showed favortism to some of the residents by turning a blind eye and not calling THEM in. Corporate should have done something about this to rectify the situation. Yes, they got rid of Brian, but lost MANY of the residents over Brian's money making schemes.
