We moved to Houston 2 years ago. We originally moved into AMLI Towne Square...not a good move. We could hear the guy upstairs when he went to the bathroom! The staff was a little snobbish and the complex seemed to have a younger party going type crowd.
We moved over to AMLI Midtown when our lease was up and love it. Marissa in the leasing office is awesome! The location is great with the trees and nearby restaurants, Starbucks, CVS, dry cleaners, etc. They only complaint we've had is when we got a new neighbor who played his stereo loudly at 2am in the middle of the week. You still get some noise on the weekends from time to time if you live on the outer edges of the complex because of people walking to their cars after going to the Front Porch bar. But it's not bad.
There have been some auto break-ins but you'll get that at any complex here.
When our AC went out late on a Sunday night, they brought out a window type of unit right away and had our unit fixed by the next day. We did have something that looked like mold around the bathroom vent but it was taken care of after a 2nd request.
The crowd is mid 20's to mid 30's.
You can walk to EVERYTHING!
