Anything to get you

I moved in to the Metropole in August, it has been a very interesting saga this past month. My highest concern is security. If you take a look around the parking garage you will notice a insufficient chain-linked fence around the garage with a two foot gap at the top any person could easily climb over...but since the gates to the garage are wide open at all hours, im sure criminals could just stroll right through, and from what I hear they already have.
I was told there would be a firewall between apartments. But my neighbors have proved that wrong because I can hear their music just fine. The windows were suppose to be double-paned as well and I'm no architect but there is nothing "double" about these windows, I can hear everything outside perfectly.
Amenities are unavailable for whatever reason that were one of the reasons this place seems so appealing to myself as well as other tenants. The pool was opened for all of two days and then mysteriously closed due to God knows what. The gym which was, according to one of the young ladies in the leasing office "for sure going to be open the first week of September" has nothing but carpet in it on this 11th day of Sept.
I could go on and on about my frustrations but what I really want to just get across to other would-be tenants is that I can understand the complex is under construction but what I don't understand is the managements lack of concern about us, their clients concerns. There is, as I read in another review, a group of tenants who have formed a group to make sure we are not just pushed aside and ignored. This to me speaks volumes, because these tenants are serious and fed-up.
I do feel the girls in the leasing office would have said anything to get people to sign a lease. Hopefully this review will help others who are thinking about calling the Metropole home.

I moved in two weeks ago and talked to them on the phone. I drove in from Chicago and was almost not allowed to move in. Everything in my apartment is crooked and I wish they would at least be able to collect my packages at the office. I think it is insane that they expect, and I'm sure will enforce, the higher rent when my "move in special" expires. I would like to hear from others. Drop me a line if you read this and want to vent. Maybe if we all gt together we can get a better and bigger voice.
