Update: I truly hope people read this.
I have given notice to move and none to soon it seems. In the past few months thing have happened on the property, robberies and thefts to several cars in the "Secure" Parking Garage. Management took action immediately; walking the SPG, when I went in there to let them know my friends car had been broken into. Not that it did any good but the frustration that I saw was genuine. BTW I know no place is 100% secure.
People have noted the not so sound proof wall, the cheep appliances, the Mid-rise filth, the garbage pile up on the weekends, the incredible views from the Tower, the poor management (get a hint owners!), the guy who leaves his dog on his balcony (while he goes out) for hours at a time and much much more.
This is Memorial Day weekend I never under stood the ghetto & collage kids comments till now. Ghetto has reared its ugly head in every way, shape and color this weekend. Yes there are a few of us who seem to ----- about everything but this un-authorizes pool party (DJ and all) is worth the mention. I called to complain about the noise level. The answering service was nice enough and even gave me a call back. They informed me that Metropole curtsey police officer was not able to shut it down and to please call the police myself. After waiting for the officers to show and not to my satisfaction, I decided to do something about it and did. What I did doesn t matter but the people at the pool were mad and very rude and disrespectful to me. I in turn told them that they were not being respectful to their own neighbors. As of writing this, the party has not started back up. Let hope it won t!
In searching for my new apartment it has been difficult to find positive things on this site (Aprtmentrating.com). I do feel the positive things written about Metropole are somewhat questionable. Who is prompting the good reviews' I have found on all the apartments I have looked up there are ------- and complaints. If the dates are 6 month to a year or older I feel the management must have fixed the problems. People don t just go on a site like this to write good things without being prompted too. But if I had to say something good about the place the landscaping is beautiful and the interior or the units are beautiful.
P.S. To the person who said the property was owned by Cambridge can you give more info.

This is in no way a luxury community. I have clients that live in up-scale, luxury high-rise and in no way does this complex compare. You would be better off anywhere but here. The amenities (only the pool is open) are substandard they do not compare to what the properties around them offer nor the hype that Metropole is advertising. All-in-all it is not worth the money/rates they are charging.
