Hello all,

I'm now in Florida and moving to Houston soon to follow a job. The tower of Metropole brought my attention and I'm now negotiating the management. But after reading your posts, I'm confused now. Mangement sent me so cool pics of the interior, and I was told it was brand new like everything is going to be used by me first, because it was newly constructed. They asked for a high rent amount compared to other places.
Honestly I didn't expect anyone living there since it's brand new, but now I began to change my mind.
Please feedback asap for I'm running out of time and need to take a decision soon.
Thanks folks

The negative remarks are true. Since moving in, we have experienced nearly every problem listed on this site ourselves. The apartments look nice on the inside, that is true as you have said. The pool is pretty but that is where it stops, the inside of the apartment and the pool. The problems are ongoing and there seems to be no end. The walls are thin, I can hear my upstairs neighbor when he pees and I can hear my next door neighbor talking in a normal tone of voice. If you are ready to fight and fight for basic management services and for Normal, Simple things to be provided, then come on! If you move here, be ready to fight for what you are paying for. Or be ready to accept less than what you pay for quietly, without complaint and without it bothering you. Its as if management either has no clue about running a property or else they just want to get away with doing as little as possible. Although collecting rent seems to be a priority.

I agree, don't move in. It's not worth the headache. Dont become another upset renter at the Metropole...
