My husband and I lived there for a year. We subsequently left that apartment and moved to Beaumont we still had a few weeks so we were back and forth from Beaumont to Houston cleaning the entire apartment and also rented a steam cleaner from Home Depot for the carpet. We spent a whole week cleaning I went down on the hands and knees to clean the bathrooms etc

We left the country for six weeks and when we returned imagine our disbelief to receive a cheque from Gables for $568.00 instead of our $1400.00 security deposit. When we called and talked to the new managed Ms. Megan she is telling us that the bathrooms werent cleaned to their expectations. I told here that you must expect wear and tear in an apartment. I also know for a fact that everyone who moves out they change the carpets I have seen this with my own two eyes for four of my neighbours who moved out.

Please dont go and rent their they are taking advantage.
