Meyer Grove is well-kept and the staff is very friendly each time I go into the office. I really enjoyed using the pool. I would only recommend this place for a short-term lease until you find something else. The drawbacks to living here that I think one should be aware of while apartment-hunting is: 1)the noise level of 610. There is a constant hum coming from 610, day or night, especially if you're in an aparment closer to 610. 2) Don't let them sell you on the "covered parking". Our covered parking stall is very far from our building, so we have never even made use of it and end up parking in the uncovered parking closer to our building. 3)Maintenance: have not been pleased with this area whatsoever! Maintenance tends to come check your reported problem and then leave a note minimizing the problem, hinting at why it is your fault the problem even exists. I have to make numerous calls just to get things fixed. 4)Noise! It's not noise from the residents, it's the noise of the garbage truck that comes at 6:30 a.m. three times a week. The truck is extremely loud as it empties the 6 trash bins outside and sets off numerous car alarms. The garbage episode lasts about 15-20 minutes. My spouse and I just know that the car alarm is part of the morning routine, annoying as it is. So, if you have to live here, DO NOT live by the gargabe bin area. On the plus side, any time you have a pest problem, you call the office and they'll have it sprayed within 1 week. The area is not gated, but I've felt safe outside as long as was daylight. I LOVE living right by Braes Bayou and going for walks on it. BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq
