Meyergrove

Great Place to Be From: roshi226 Date posted: 3/22/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   I felt compelled to give my perspective on Meyergrove after reading the comments of the person who did not recommend the property. I moved to Houston all the way from Chicago (August 05) and when looking for an apartment I knew that Meyergrove was the place for me. The property, though it does not have lush planting and new construction has something important to me...character. Landscape & Construction The lanscape is not overdone as to attract creatures and is maintained weekly. The court yard and pool are maintained consistantly and the property is overall very clean. The buildings are older construction but well kept as well. I am very happy with the amount of space in the 2 bdrm 2bath unit. Staff The Staff is really what sold me on the property. I really enjoyed their wonderful personality and their general caring nature for the wellfare of the tenants. Every time I enter the office, I'm always greeted with a smile. The manager lives on site. Maintenance Every time I have ever placed a work order, it has been taken care of expeditiously, sometimes before I've expected. I have yet to have something I requested to be fixed need more attention Parking The parking situation may not be ideal for some but it works perfectly for us. We do not use the covered parking since it is behind the building but the uncovered parking towards the front is fine. Though it is not gated I feel that my car is safe. Noise Level The property is very quiet. The people who live on site are courteous and it has never been an issue for me. As for noise from the highway, I don't hear much and I am in the building closest to the highway. Sometimes i can hear the whistle from the railroad but occasionally and very faint. Overall The property is great for the price and location in the loop. It is very inexpensive with quality neighbors. It is a community and I have enjoyed living here so far. Perks The community events No Energy Bill since property takes care of it. The free movie library Location in the loop and near Meyerland plaza Hope this helps!
