If you're looking for a decent place with decent neighbors at a decent price with a great staff in a fantastic location, Meyergrove is for you. I have always felt safe in this apartment complex, though my car was vandalized by some (presumably) drunk kids who have since been evicted. This complex is definitely a good starter place, but I plan to move out as soon as I can afford to do so. There is some sort of mold problem in my apartment that makes everything smell musty (probably due to the type of old-fashioned cooling system the complex uses), and the amount of dust that appears everywhere is unbelievable. The air conditioner breaks down often, but maintenance is very responsive and quick to repair. Once my air conditioner started leaking water all over the floor late at night and the repairman came within an hour to fix it. As long as you don't have any sort of allergy or asthma problems, you should be fine.

I definitely agree with the post from 06/04/2007. I wasn't too thrilled to see the apartments--as they are older looking; however, they are quiet considering the close proximity of 610.
Also, I spoke with my cousin, who lives in another apartment complex (much more asthetically pleasing) and his words of wisdom were "if you have great, quiet neighbors, that is all that matters--believe me." He has yet to find that and according to him, I don't know how lucky I am.
