Well, I've written in here before and still live here. The Real Meyergrove is as good as all the reviews. There is always parking even if you get home very late at night and the maintenance is really good. You have a problem they come fix it and usually within the same day. Sure I've seen a roach or two but they have some service that comes in to take care of the problem. You sound so skeptical... Maybe you should actually stop by the office and talk to some one.

I can understand your skepticism. I've done a lot of research on Innerloop apartments and MeyerGrove has an unusually high rating. We came for a visit and decided to move here right away. I've only lived here a couple of weeks, but I am extremely happy. It's not completely perfect, but it's as good as you will get unless you can afford to buy a house inside the loop. The walls are well insulated, parking is plentiful, the walking trail is an immense convenience, and the staff is surprisingly helpful. If you are still dubious, stop by the office, talk to them, and take some time to observe the resident's interactions with the staff.

I've lived here for 2 months now and I am very happy with the staffing and the neighborhood. People are very nice and for any request the maintenance will be in very fast. There is plenty of space in the parking lot and I am not afraid to let my motorcycle or car outside by night. Actually, this was my main reason to move in. The apartments are pretty nice but the heater/AC fan is quite noisy. For that price I am very pleased and I am not sure that a more expensive apratment would be better anyway.

Hi! I'm not the one that posed the original question, but I am looking for an apartment, and am considering Meyergrove. Thank y'all for putting up your opinions of the complex! It's very helpful to let us know about the positives and the negatives. I definately understand the original posters skepticism of the opinions on this website. Too many are ones that talk about all the negatives only, or basically copy the apartment complex's brochure. It's irritating, I tell ya! Thanks again!

I have lived at Meyergrove for many years and it did flood with Allison as did most of the area and med. center. I know the city fixed the sewer lines underground and built a retention pond. With all the heavy rains since then I've never seen the bayou nor the property get too much water nor close to flooding.

Everyone (apartment) gets one covered parking space. My boyfriend has never complained of having to find a spot. If you are concerned with flooding then get insured. I'm on the 3rd floor and have full coverage on my auto. So no worries here. If you do not have renters or full coverage insurance then move to a place that is not in the flood zone or near a bayou. Duhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lived here in 2005- 2006 and really liked my apartment. It had very spacious living areas for a 1 bedroom apartment. The location and price were great. I was not in love with the covered parking but nothing ever happened to my vehicle. The staff was very responsive as well. It was older but I think a great value overall. I would go back in a heartbeat and only left due to relocation for work.
