Let me start off by saying that I work in the Apartment Industry, but for another company/community. That being said I LOVE MEYERGROVE. How much do you ask' So much that I have been offered a free apartment but yet I will not leave MEYERGROVE! You will have to search to find a better neighborly community. I have lived here since 2002 and have been in three (about to be four) different apartments and you will not find a better place to live. Yes the property is older, that means you have more closet space than these newer places that steal from the closets for room space. These apartments have been kept up well and the maintenance staff is top notch. They fix your problem and fix it right the first time. No there is no business office or gym, but there is a 24 hour fitness center with in walking distance and a starbucks too. Believe me that for what you pay for those "features" its not worth it. We have beautiful pools and we are right on the Bayou trail for walking and biking. The community is also very safe. I have been known to walk to my friends apartments in the middle of the night and feel safe. This is a great apartment community. The office staff (Monica and Lizzie) are the nicest people you will ever meet. They are always there and smiling. Did I mention they have a free video library!!!! This community is the best. Don't take my word for it! Read the other reviews. Call and see how many apartments they have vacant! (Not that many!) If you are lucky enough to get the chance to move here, do it!!!
