I agree that it is ok. When I first moved in I loved my apartment. In many ways I still do. However, the loud and drunk people down at the pool jumping off the rocks at 4am are not so enjoyable. It is not uncommon to be disturbed by late night pool parties. It would not be that big of a deal if these people had the sense to be quiet because it is 4am and some of us lead lives that don't involve drunken parties everynight of the week. Some of us actually work for a living. I don't think people realize that everything said echos down at the pool so that every single apartment that surrounds the pool has a late night show.
We have complained to the manager. That didn't work. Or at least it appeared as if she didn't really care. We have called HPD several times. But I can't help but wonder why it is the residents responsibility to enforce the pool rules. To ask where security is would be a joke since they are non-existant, which is a whole different set of complaints. In the summer alone there have been 9 forced entries.
All in all, we do really like the location. We love the Heights! We enjoy the apartment itself. But that alone isn't enough to keep us here. If we wanted to live the college life filled with endless nights of drunken friends we would have stayed near a campus.
