When I originally moved there 64 it was because of the cheap rent. I didn't think management would change every month. I never had a problem until Justin and Ado began working in the office. Justin would try to have your car illegally towed( I witnessed him HELPING the tow truck driver pushing the car out) luckily the man came out and explained to him he was from out of state and didnt need the stickers that cars have in Texas. Ado would make up charges in order to get you to pay extra money. I went through this for 5 months. I didnt want to break my lease so I kept all my paperwork just in case. Well I made it to the end of my lease term which said I had to be out by June 7 2005. When I went to turn in my keys of course management was new and they weren't there 2 mos prior when you had to turn in your move out notice. They couldnt find my notice. I turned in the keys anyway thinking since I had my lease and it stated the move out date it would be fine. Well come to find out they loved how I cleaned the place but wanted to charge me $20 for the blinds (thats fine), $75 or so for the 7 days rent (dont think so), and a couple of hundred for not turning in a move out notice (i used my own pen and paper). I have a copy of the move out notice because I knew the apts were shady. But you know they always come up with something now you needed it signed by someone in the office.Well instead of them trying to convince me to renew they shouldve sent a notice saying hey you need this signed. So now I am stuck with this on my rental credit causing me to pay additional deposits anywhere I move. But The Mint will have to take me to court before I just hand over a couple hundred dollars because they want to be criminals. So I wouldnt advise anyone to move here for any reason. It was a dump when it was Rodeo Square and it will stay a dump no matter how many different managers they bring on!!!!! note to management you dont get good honest dedicated people to live in your community if you dont treat them the same way so everytime HPD comes through there look in the mirror you caused your residents to act a fool.

Shelly,
This is live in the apartment community. You have to cover your behind at all times. I is a shame you didn't get a signature on that notice, I think that would have been your only defense. As for being a dump always-There are big up grades that are going on right now. Hopefully Karen and the current gang stay with us a while they are GREAT!!! An apartment community is what you and your neighbors make it. I pray that you will find peace wherever you may go.
