Nassau Bay Village Apartments: a true home

Roofers had the decking off my home when a torrential rain hit. My home was destroyed. We had to move quickly and most home leasers and apartment managers wanted NO PETS or asked for excessive deposits.
My best friend lived in Nassau Bay Village 25 years ago and I have admired it ever since. It has lots of rustic brick and mature trees. Many of the decks and patios have pots or hanging baskets filled with flowers. There are birds of every kind in the trees and bushes.
Still, I wasn t going to rent without checking the place out some. I walked around on two different days (at different times during each day) and talked to every tenant I saw. Thanks to the proximity of NASA JSC, there is a nice ethnic blend here. The tenants, mostly professionals, were all polite to me and enthusiastic about the Village; they love it here. Several have lived here 10 to 20 years.
There are still a couple of blue roofs, but that is true of almost every apartment complex in the area. Individuals (including me) and businesses both north and south of Clear Lake are still fighting with the insurance companies.
Overall, the place looks nice and homey. Both maintenance men were working the whole time I was looking it over. I never even saw a maintenance man at any other complex.
The Village is surrounded by churches (Episcopal, Lutheran [the well-known Gloria Dei], Catholic and Baptist. The post office is about a block away and NASA JSC is about half-a-mile from your door.
If you like having noisy parties, rattling your neighbors teeth with your stereo, or selling drugs for extra income, you won t last long here. You will be asked to move if you are a nuisance.
The wonderful atmosphere is due to the efforts of the manager, Cody, and maintenance men Reggie and Armando. They treat the Village like you would treat your own home. If you call for a repair, it will be a matter of hours, not days, before it is fixed. The Village is clean, quiet and safe.
Nassau Bay is a quite and lovely little town right on NASA Rd. 1 (aka NASA Parkway) and Clear Lake. They city has a high tax base and, therefore, is well-policed. People bike, walk and run at all hours of the day and night (the park and the waterfront are as close as the post office).
Finally, I would like to say that I have now been here four months. In that third-of-a-year, I ve yet to hear a neighbor complain about their apartment or the complex, and I certainly don t have any complaints. That s the way I like it.

it's so lame how the manager/owner keeps on writing their own reviews --- like THIS one.

You know who I am. I'm R.L. Babic and we've talked more than once. I told you months ago about my home being destroyed by roofers.
You always gripe about this place, but you've never said a word about going to Cody, the manager.
I suggest you do so, or move.
