I live in Nob Hill North and I've been here for almost a year. It's an OK apartment complex. It's pretty quite where my apartment is located. Any time I've had maintenance problems they came out to fix it within a day, unless it's the weekend. The only problems that I've experienced are the bugs, my car being broken into, and the fact that it's not all bills paid anymore.
The bug problem is not super bad for me, but it's bad enough, especially when you are a clean person like myself. I am a stay at home mom, and I clean my apartment everyday, but I would find a roach in my bathroom or kitchen at least twice a week if not more. There are cockroaches and little roaches. When I first moved in I had ants, they came out to spray but they were still there so I invested in some bug spray to take care of the problem myself.
Then there was the issue with my car. One night someone went into my car and stole my radio and some Christmas gifts that I had in the trunk. I guess it was partly my fault since I left my car unlock. I think the thieves came from the apartment complex next door.
Lastly, when I moved in I caught the "all bills included" thing that they had going on. We were informed that it was ending and that if we renewed our lease that it won't be available any more. I'm thinking about moving but it might be hard to find another place to stay for the amount that I am paying, even without all bills being paid.
Some good things about Nob Hill are the people in the office, bingo, and the location. The office personal are nice, they've never given me a problem. Also, on Wednesdays and every other Saturday they have bingo in the clubroom,(Probably since so may elderly people live here,) but you have the opportunity to get discounts off your rent if you win. It's not much, but what other complex gives you an opportunity to take anything off your rent, besides for recommending someone to them. Last the location is great, it's in Meyerland, right off of the 610 Loop. Not too far from the Galleria and Downtown. I like it. uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
