IM GOING CRAZY!!!!!! From: HoustonYouHaveAProblem Date posted: 4/13/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008 1 response 3 photos TAKE NOTE ALL PICTURES WERE TAKEN IN OCTOBER, NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED BUT THE SIZE, COLOR AND SHAPES!!!!!! I currently live in this apartment complex and I am beating myself up for existing my lease for ANOTHER 6 months!! My roof has had two separate leaks one of them currently resides above my dinner table. How do I know its there' There is a brown and green patch of something growing fur I asked them to at LEAST paint it so I could pretend it wasnt there two months later and this STILL has not happened. I also have a leak in my living room you can tell because the ceiling dips in. Let me tell you about my bathroom, its small to begin with but now the WHITE PAINT they painted my tub with before I moved in is coming off because of a leak of SCOLDING hot water that wore the paint away after two attempts they finally fixed that leak. They say they can re finish it but I would have to use my own money and get a hotel for a weekend so they can come and do this. So now I sit in my home with my kitchen sink half full and UN DRAINING, dish washer wont work (called them Thursday they said they can fix it MONDAY!!!!!!) and my garbage disposal has gone to heaven as well. I SWEAR if I could pack my things and leave RIGHT NOW I would. No matter the rent including all utilities paid it does not make up for the quality of life I am sacrificing for myself and children. Oh I forgot to mention the leak RIGHT above the ceiling fan in my childrens room if this were to get worse the ceiling fan will and would eventually fall. DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS. At least not the S.W block with the FLAT roofs. I dont stop living on Saturday and Sunday just because the maintenance workers get those days off. They said due to new management in December that I wouldnt be able to sign my new lease, by February they FINALLY had my lease and had raised my rent $20 and said I should have known about it (no one told me). I am an idiot for signing that lease for another six months, but you will be deemed one by yourself if you move here!!!! AT LEAST the apartment managers TRY and maintain a kind relationship that I can give them but the Emergency number' RUDE!! And the only reason Im FINALLY writing this.

you get what you pay for, they were built in 68, have you seen the houses around that area, the rest of the apts. by a piece of property and get a trailer as long as it doesn't have that poison Katrina stuff in it. sorry
